DigiPlex strengthens leadership team, positioning company for rapid growth with appointment of Fredrik Jansson.

DigiPlex, the leading Nordic data centre company, today announced the appointment of Fredrik Jansson as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer. In this role he will oversee DigiPlex’s global marketing, communications and public affairs efforts.

Before joining DigiPlex, Fredrik held several marketing leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in a distinguished career spanning over a decade. During his time with TCS, the firm grew from $1bn to $16.5 in revenue and from 40,000 to 370,000 employees. His last position at TCS was as Chief Brand Officer where he was responsible for all brand building activities across 21 European markets. Fredrik has won over 40 of the most prestigious European awards for excellence in Branding, Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Thought Leadership, Event Management and Sports Sponsorships.

In addition to Fredrik Jansson joining the leadership team, DigiPlex recently added executive leaders Daniel Joyce as Chief Construction Officer, Lars Tisen as Chief Commercial Officer and Haakon Holm-Knapstad as Chief HR Officer.

DigiPlex´s innovative data centres have been recognised with a series of top accolades including “Most Innovative Energy Solution Award” at Datacloud Europe 2016 and “Best Enterprise Data Centre 2015” at the DatacenterDynamics EMEA Awards. Its brand new facility in Upplands Väsby, offering up to 20 000 m² of secure and green IT housing, has recently been awarded ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management) and ISO14001:2004 (Environmental Management System Standard). DigiPlex has already secured ISO certification in both categories for its Ulven and Rosenholm data centres in Oslo, Norway. The company has also been granted ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and OSHAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) across all its data centres. These important certifications, widely regarded as the most stringent set of standards applicable to the data centre industry, demonstrate DigiPlex’s determination to provide the highest level of customer service excellence.
