Datacloud Global Awards 2021.
DigiPlex, together with CTS International Europe have been shortlisted in the category for Data Center Construction.
DigiPlex, the Nordic leader for sustainable, scalable, and secure data centers, together with CTS International, have been shortlisted for the Datacloud Global Awards 2021 in the category for Data Center Construction. The awards celebrate outstanding achievement of those across the data center, cloud and edge sectors throughout the last year.
CTS International, commissioned by DigiPlex, constructed and delivered mechanical and electrical fit out of a 3MW hyperscale facility in just over seven months, resulting in a highly sustainable, secure, hyperscale-grade data center in Oslo. CTS did this not only in the middle of a harsh Nordic winter, but under restrictions and constraints related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the new facility was constructed adjacent to an existing data center with no disruption, interruption or any impact to its operation.
The award shortlisting is a joint collaboration, recognising the talent, commitment and partnership of all involved in the project. Commenting on the final result, Construction Director, Chris Price: “We have worked with CTS on many projects in Sweden and now Norway. The CTS approach to inevitable challenges which arise in projects is refreshing. The pandemic control impact on this project posed a whole new dimension which CTS tackled with confidence!”
Speaking after the award announcement, Rob Weldon, Business Development Manager for CTS commented “We are ecstatic about being shortlisted with DigiPlex for our first ever industry award. Working for and with DigiPlex on this amazing project has been a privilege for all the team, and CTS are excited about the journey we are taking with DigiPlex in this amazing business and proving that cooperation and leadership is the key to success”
The virtual award ceremony will take place on 1st June 2021.
