Fredrik Jansson appointed Chief Commercial Officer
DigiPlex, the Nordic leader for sustainable, scalable, and secure data centers, has appointed Fredrik Jansson as Chief Commercial Officer. As the next wave of digitalization combines with increasing concern over the environmental performance of digital infrastructure this appointment will ensure DigiPlex capitalizes on the growing demand for sustainable data centers.
Previously Jansson was Chief Strategy, Marketing and Communications Officer at DigiPlex where he was instrumental in repositioning DigiPlex from a strong player in the Nordic colocation market, into a globally recognized leader for sustainable large scale data centers. In his new role, Jansson will head a new commercial unit responsible for all sales and marketing/communications efforts globally, and report to CEO Wiljar Nesse.

Jansson joined DigiPlex in 2016 and under his leadership DigiPlex has received 15 international awards for its rapid transformation. In addition, Jansson has been named as one of the 50 Most Influential CMOs globally and is the first ever recipient of Datacloud Awards’ "Marketeer of the Year". An award created to recognize outstanding contribution to the global data centre and cloud industry. Before joining DigiPlex, Jansson held several leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in a distinguished career spanning over a decade and 40+ international awards for excellence. During his time with TCS, the firm grew from $1bn to $16.5 in revenue and from 40,000 to 370,000 employees. His last position at TCS was as Chief Brand Officer responsible for all brand building activities across 21 European markets.

Jansson holds a Master of Science degree in Business & Economics and is globally educated with university and executive education studies in USA (Harvard Business School, Kellogg; Northwestern, University of Florida), France (INSEAD), UK (London Business School), Ireland (Trinity College Dublin) and Sweden (Uppsala University).
