DigiPlex has secured land in the Nordics


We have acquired a plot of 60,000 m² (with an option to purchase an additional 100,000 m²) just outside Oslo, Norway. The site is prepared for the establishment of a data center and an agreement ensures the necessary power supply for first development phase. The area has ample access to renewable energy with more than 200MW available. Combined with very good connectivity and proximity to Oslo and Oslo airport, the area is very attractive for a data center build.


Ringerike Oslo, Norway


The plot of approx. 110,000m² in the Høje-Taastrup municipality, west of Copenhagen, in an area surrounded by industrial developments. We have secured enough renewable power to support the development, as well as onsite water, planning and building permissions to construct five data centers for a major new campus site.

This second DigiPlex data center site in Denmark will feature waste heat recovery technology to feed into the existing district heating system as part of a significant environmental sustainability commitment. Watch our heat re-use video to learn more.


Taastrup Copenhagen, Denmark


Adjacent to our current site in Upplands Vasby, we have additional land of approx. 20,000m² to construct either two buildings (2 or 3 storeys) or one large single storey building. In addition, we’ve secured a total of 40MW of power for the campus.

The data center design provides for harvested rainwater to be used in the cooling process; an eco-pond and/or buried storage tanks; and heat recovery to the local district heating system. The new facility will benefit from the current on-site security arrangements, including high grade boundary fencing with dual perimeter and sterile zones, plus secure access control and car trap.


Upplands Vasby Stockholm, Sweden

Nordic location.

The Nordics has Europe’s lowest population density. And unlike most other parts of Europe, the region still has a lot of accessible land surrounding big city areas such as Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, plus there is less competition and the prices are lower. National and local governments across the Nordics are pro data center development, which is not always the case in other European nations, so permission to develop land is easier to secure.
