Chief Executive Officer
Wiljar joined DigiPlex in March 2020 as CEO. He is the former Executive Vice President Financial Services at TietoEVRY. He has also worked at Elkem and AP Dow Jones, and as CEO and part owner of Manamind AS.
Wiljar is currently a board member of the trade and employer’s association Abelia and a selected member of The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) panel for future business and industry in Norway.
He studied at the Norwegian School of Economics and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Chief Commercial Officer
Fredrik joined DigiPlex in 2016 as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and in January 2018 advanced to the position of Chief Strategy, Marketing & Communications Officer. In March 2021 Fredrik was appointed Chief Commercial Officer to oversee DigiPlex’s global sales, marketing and communications efforts.
Under his leadership DigiPlex has received 15 international awards for its rapid transformation. In addition, Fredrik was named as one of the 50 Most Influential CMO’s globally and is the first ever recipient of Datacloud Awards “Marketeer of the Year”.
Fredrik holds a Master of Science degree in Business & Economics and is globally educated with university and executive education studies in USA (Harvard Business School, Kellogg; Northwestern, University of Florida), France (INSEAD), UK (London Business School), Ireland (Trinity College Dublin) and Sweden (Uppsala University).
Chief Service Delivery Officer
Dan is Chief Service Delivery Officer for the Group of companies. Dan has been with DigiPlex since the outset, helping build the company ‘brick-by-brick’. Dan served as Head of Operations, Chief Operating Officer & nowadays focuses his skills on end-to-end Customer Service; especially supporting deal closure, integration of requirements & service assurance for the most demanding requirements.
Dan is a Chartered Professional Building Services Engineer (CEng. MCIBSE) with public and private sector experience in estate maintenance & construction. His long Data Centre experience includes simultaneously bringing multiple data centers into operation across Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Also, for seven years, Dan was UK Engineering Services Manager for the EDS UK Data Center portfolio; his duties included M&E engineering operations & receiving assets of outsourcing for consolidation into the Data Center portfolio.
Chief Technology Officer
Geoff is Group Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for design, engineering and innovation across all of the DigiPlex portfolio. He is a Chartered Building Services Engineer, a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and an Uptime Institute Accredited Design Engineer.
He has extensive experience in data center focused business unit and technical services team management in both Operational and CapEx roles. Geoff has received various awards for his work in Innovation, Future Thinking and Energy Efficiency in data centers. The awards range across Indirect Evaporative Cooling (IEC) development, Modular Data Centre development, heat re-use and Concert Control ©. Geoffs’ team also provide support to the COO and CDO in problem resolution and change management.
Geoff has been part of the DigiPlex management team from the outset, working closely with the investors and stake holders to grow the Company.
Chief Financial Officer
Cathrine is the Chief Financial Officer for the Group of companies. Since joining in 2015, she has successfully closed three highly oversubscribed bond issues and led the transformation of Finance from supporting two operational sites to the current seven.
Cathrine is an experienced finance professional with more than 20 years in managing positions and a broad background from private equity and publicly listed companies.
Cathrine holds a Master of Business Administration (finance specialization), from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), including a one-year CEMS exchange program at HEC Paris Business School.
Chief HR & Compliance Officer
In his role as Chief HR & Compliance Officer Haakon oversees DigiPlex’s People and Compliance strategy. He joined the Group in August 2015 and under his leadership the company has more than doubled the number of employees, been certified Great Place to Work three years in a row and is ranked Top 15 best places to work in Norway in 2020.
Haakon and his team has overseen DigiPlex’s overall Covid-19 response and the company got a 5 out 5 score on Pandemic Handling from DNV under the groups 2020 ISO Audit.
He brings had nine years of experience as a HR Business Partner and recruiter. He holds a Master of Science degree in OrganisationalOrganizational Psychology and a Bachelor Degree in Business Law – both from Norwegian School of Management. Haakon is the former HR Business Partner for Consulting and System Integration and Managed Services at Tieto Norway AS. Before this he worked six years as a recruiter.
Chief Operating Officer
Halvor became Chief Operating Officer for DigiPlex in 2019 having previously held positions with the company as Head of Operations and Operation Director Norway.
In his role as a key member of the Executive Management Team, he is working closely with the CEO ensuring the smooth running of the business. He focuses equally on growth from new business and in ensuring the highest standards of delivery to existing clients.
Passionate about the need to create more sustainable digital infrastructure, he is helping to drive DigiPlex’s sustainability agenda and has presented, spoken on panels and been quoted on this topic in international publications.
Prior to DigiPlex, Bjerke worked with a number of high-profile businesses in IT and operations roles. He brings great depth and breadth of understanding of the power, opportunities and responsibilities that come with the digital ecosystem.
Chief Development Officer
Phil joined DigiPlex in March 2021 as the Chief Development Officer. Phil founded and led Mace International Data Center Business operating in several of Europe’s leading data center markets including the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and Denmark. He brings deep expertise in data center and critical infrastructure development and construction to the accelerated demand and delivery cycles in the market.
Phil is committed to the continuous improvement of health and safety standards and is involved in a number of H&S boards and leadership schemes, including co-chair of the British Safety Council (BSC) Construction Sector Interest Group.
